About Us

Introduction of the Budget, Accounting and Statistics Office     

  • Our office was originally established at NCKU with the title of Accounting Office. In line with the Statues for Establishment and Management of Budget, Accounting and Statistics Agencies and BAS Personnel, revised by the Directorate-General of Budget, Accounting, and Statistics, Executive Yuan on December 5, 2012 and taking effect from January 1, 2013, the office was renamed as The Budget, Accounting and Statistics Office, upon approval by the 3rd meeting of the University Affairs Council in the 2012-2013 academic year on April 10, 2013.

 

Office Characteristics

  • The Office administers its accounting operations through an online accounting operations system and provides an online accounting inquiry system to inform every unit of their budget implementation. The Office consists of four divisions, with a total of 40 staff members, including 1 director, 1 senior administrative officer, 4 division chiefs, 3 specialists, 9 division staffers, 1 clerk, 2 administrators, 15 assistant administrators, and 4 project workers. According to the Statues for Establishment and Management of Budget, Accounting and Statistics Agencies and BAS Personnel, the Office is established as an independent unit under the direct jurisdiction of the Office of the President at NCKU, which shall be supervised by the Directorate-General of Budget, Accounting, and Statistics.

 

Main Business

  • Under the current laws and regulations, in line with the overall development of the school and the annual school affairs goals, handle the preparation of the annual budget, the internal control and review of income and expenditure funds, and the processing of accounting, and coordinate and communicate with professional accounting intelligence. , Provide the best service to assist the school in promoting school affairs to achieve governance goals.
